Most people don’t need an assistant. They need someone who was there yesterday.
Synora started from a narrow observation: the useful part of talking to someone is not the advice, it is that you don’t have to start from the beginning. Every AI product we tried made you start from the beginning.
A companion is a harder thing to build than a chatbot, because almost all of the work is in what it declines to do.
Anything that remembers you can hurt you with it. Anything that talks about your body can talk you into something. Anything that is warm at 3am has an obligation to know when it is out of its depth and to hand you a human, quickly, instead of performing concern.
So the parts of Synora we spent the longest on are the ones you hopefully never notice: a refusal taxonomy with three different tones, a consent record with a jurisdiction on it, a crisis surface with no analytics in it at all, and a memory list you can read and correct in your own words. The warmth is the easy half.
Four commitments we designed against.
- Continuity
One relationship, not four dashboards
A habit tracker that does not know you had a bad night is not helping you. Memory is the product, so it is the thing we make visible and the thing you can delete.
- Refusal
The manners matter more than the answers
They will not dose you, will not interpret a test result, and will not tell you to change a prescription under any framing. Those refusals are designed behaviours with their own copy, not error states.
- The worst hour
Crisis support is free, on every plan, forever
Nothing in that surface is logged unless you ask for it, nothing in it is for sale, and it works with no signal and no account. If that is the only part of Synora you ever use, it has done its job.
- Leaving
The exit is one action and it runs immediately
No retention window, no confirmation email, no offer to win you back. A product that is hard to leave is a product that has stopped trying to be worth staying for.
The honest list.
- The mobile app, where the daily conversation loop will live. In build.
- Herbal and supplement guidance. Gated for every user in every region until a named clinician signs it off — no date promised.
- The live video avatar. Named on the Inner Circle tier as coming, and not billed as though it were here.
- Languages beyond English. The type, the layout and the date and currency handling are all built for it; the strings are not translated yet.
Synora is made by TrikAi, with design and engineering by DevOff Studio. It is a small team, which is the reason the roadmap above is short and the reason nothing on it is announced before it exists.
