What happens if I stop paying?
You drop to Free at the end of the period you already paid for. Your companion, your history and your memories stay exactly where they are — nothing is deleted for non-payment.
Can I switch plans?
Up or down, whenever you want. An upgrade applies immediately and is prorated; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period so you keep what you paid for.
Is there a free trial?
No — the free tier is the trial. Daily check-ins, mood tracking and the whole crisis surface, with no card and no time limit on any of it. A paid plan starts the day you choose one, and you can leave whenever you like.
Do you sell my data or run ads?
No, on both, and there is no plan under which that changes. That is why the free tier is capped by message count rather than paid for by your attention.
